I am so thankful that Dr. Daniel Kovacs is providing surgical solutions for my "deflated" body following considerable weight loss. Dr. Kovacs listened to what I wanted and helped me understand what my (realistic, safe) options looked like, and developed a plan accordingly. Over the summer he performed the first procedure, an abdominal panniculectomy. My incision has healed perfectly and it feels weird to refer to it as a scar; it is completely invisible under hipster bikini panties. My recovery was closely monitored, easy to manage, and complete; I was back at work in two weeks, and back in the gym at six weeks out. I've since gained so much strength and flexibility, and can achieve poses and exercises I could not anatomically perform previously; this surgery has been life-changing for me. Dr. Kovacs' staff is fantastic - efficient, whip-smart, and also warm and welcoming. Dr. Kovacs was responsive and clear when I had (m)any questions, gentle when I was nervous, and meticulous to a superlative level. You will not encounter a more thorough doctor, confirmed by the nurses at Delray Medical Center who were vocally impressed with him. I am counting down the days to the next procedure he'll be performing, which is the strongest endorsement I can give. He performed plastic surgery to repair my sister's mohs surgery on her nose and did a fabulous job.  You would never know she had skin cancer removed. A massive thank you to Dr. Kovacs and his staff. I found Schuster Plastic Surgery on the website of Ear Well; which is an infant ear deformity correction system. My daughter was born with odd shaped ears caused by her position in the womb. Unfortunately, there’s not a lot of information when it comes to correcting a newborns ear in a non invasive way. Thankfully after doing a bit of reading on the ear wells I decided to schedule an appointment for a consultation. Dr. Kovacs was terrific. Knowledgeable, sensitive, informative… I immediately felt at ease because I knew I was at the right place. My daughter’s ears shape improved and I couldn’t be more grateful specially because time is imperative when it comes to the Ear Well system. My daughter was 2 weeks old and I wanted to make sure she was in good hands and she definitely was. Dr. Kovacs was very gentle and patient. Staff was great, too. Dr. Kovacs was our light at the end of the tunnel. Our 10 year old sustained a deep laceration above his eye that landed us in two different ERs. One ER wanted to send us to another hospital where an oral surgeon would stitch him up. We left AMA and went to Boca West after connecting with Dr. Kovacs. This Dr was so kind to come in after hours which shows such a passion for his craft and a love for patients. When he arrived he made my son so comfortable by  making him laugh, explaining what he was doing and constantly assuring he was ok. Kovacs numbed the area so well that my son felt NO pain! He also took his time being methodical and a perfectionist with the stitches. By the time we left the hospital I was blown away with how amazing my son looked. We had braced ourselves for the worst and we were so happy with the results. Even the ER Drs and staff we amazed! Dr. Kovacs and his office staff were just as wonderful. His office is serene, the staff is warm and friendly and the removal of stitches was a breeze! My sons injury is healing so well and a month later it is hardly noticeable. My surgery took place in 12/2019. Shortly afterwards, I noticed a visual concern. I wanted to wait at least 6 months to assure I was fully healed so that Dr. Schuster and I could make the best assessment on how to improve it. After a few back and forth visits to discuss options, I am happy to say that Dr. S took care of the my concern, free of charge and everything turned out looking great! Dr. Kovacs is wonderful. My 9 year old son was badly injured and suffered a concussion and a very deep head wound. When he came in to greet my son and I in the ER to perform the stitching, he was so good with my son. He was very down to earth, got on my sons level and reassured him and explained to him what he was gonna do. My son was put at ease and the whole procedure he remained calm as the doctor conversed with him. Dr. Kovacs was so patient and kind with my boy. Dr. Kovacs was excellent in his explanations of what was going to happen and he followed through right to the end.  His dedication is outstanding! His staff is exceptional as well!  The office is spotless and beautiful!  His staff was so nice and made you feel welcomed.  Dr. Kovacs is excellent in his abilities and his obvious care for his patients. What really impressed my husband and I was that the hospital staff at Boca Regional Hospital kept commenting how professional and caring he was. My 3-yr old son recently experienced a fall that landed him in the ER with a gnarly laceration under his eye. We requested a plastic surgeon to handle the job and were extremely pleased with who we were assigned. Not only was his work impeccable but there was such a peace and calm about him that made us feel at ease during such a heightened state of emotion and fear. Dr. Kovacs provided thorough explanations each step of the way during the procedure and what we were to expect afterward and we cannot thank him enough for being a part of that experience with us. A big thanks also goes out to his amazing staff who were all very pleasant and didn’t mind spoiling my little one during his follow up. Dr. Kovacs is truly a gifted, artistic, and detail-oriented professional! Immediately after a very invasive Mohs surgery left me with a huge hole above my lip, he assured me in the kindest way that he would utilize the best techniques to restore my face to “factory settings.“ Though he checked on me in person several times as the Mohs surgeon worked on me at another practice down the hall, when I finally got over to Dr. Kovacs’s, he did not rush me to a decision, but examined the large excision and talked things out very clearly with my husband and I. He listened to our concerns and answered all of our questions in a very compassionate, reassuring, and unhurried manner. The reconstructive surgery on my face took a little more than an hour. In that time, he and his staff kept my husband updated in the waiting room. Now more than two weeks since the procedure, I can see that this surgery will have a beautiful result! Dr. Kovacs has seen me three times thus far, and each visit has been my pleasure! I never wait more than five minutes, and he is always very positive; takes his time, and also communicates clearly that if I have any concerns at all during my recovery to call immediately. My daughter had a split lip from a dog bite. He came out in the middle of the night, had the best bedside manner and did a great job. Her lip was pretty bad and when the stitches came off, you could barely tell that her lip was split in two. Dr Kovaks is amazing.
