Revison Breast Surgery Before & After Photos

This 58 year old Palm Beach woman came to see me in my Boca Raton Office for an implant exchange.  In 1976 she had silicone implants placed through an inframammary incision over the muscle.  During the next 20 plus years her implants became increasingly hard and painful.  Her breasts became more distorted ver time to the point where she was embarassed to have anyone look at them or be intimate with her boyfriend.  She wanted to avoid the incisions of a breast lift.

I examined her and was impressed with the amount of encapsulation she had as well as the possibility of ruptured implants.  Her nipples were pointing downward due to the high riding implants.  After reviewing the procedure and its pros and cons, surgery was planned. 

Through inframammary incisons, I removed the bilateral ruptured implants and the scar tissue around the implants (capsule) and placed Mentor 500cc high profile gel implants behind the muscle.  By repositioning the implants no lift was needed and she is a D cup bra, the size she wanted to be from the initial consultation.
