This is a 42 year old woman who has recently lost about 15 ponds to get to her ideal weight of about 105. She is a petite girl at 5'1" tall and 105 pounds. She wore a small B cup bra and wanted to be a med to full size C. She was hoping to just get a breast augmentation and avoid the need for additional anchor scars from a lift, as was suggested to her by other surgeons. She did not want to look 18 again but did want to look great for her age and still wear a bikini top without pads as well as strapless dresses without having to worry about finding the right bra to wear. After evaluating her I found that indeed she would need a lift. Her nipples were too low and pointing downward on her breast. Just putting in an implant would be a mistake so I recommeded an Augmentation Mastopexy with silicone implants. I advised her that an anchor scar would be unnecessary and she would only need a perareolar or Benelli type lift combined with the implants. She underwent a periareolar augmentation mastopexy using Mentor silicone gel implants size 350cc, moderate profile plus. The implants were placed through the periareolar mastopexy incision and placed under the muscle. Her post operative course was uneventful and she healed beautifully. As she was moving out of the area her post-op photos were taken early at about 4 months and her scars continue to fade and improve. She sent me pictures from her honeymoon in the islands which of course I can't show in the website..
